Terms of Use
Last updated October 11, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of The Lid Drawer, including The Lid Drawer website at liddrawer.app (“the game”), provided by Always Blue Software LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”). By playing, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't play.
Playing the game
The game is free to play in your web browser. You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you. You may play only for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment and in line with these Terms.
Your progress
The game saves your progress in your browser on your device. Unless you sign in, it isn't backed up by us, so it can be lost if you clear your browser's data, switch browsers or devices, use private browsing, or if your browser removes it.
Signing in is optional and free. It keeps a copy of your progress so you can move between devices, but we provide it as is and can't promise that saved progress will never be lost, merged differently than you expect, or kept forever. Keep your transfer codes to yourself: anyone who enters one can use that saved progress. If you play without Google and lose every device and code, we can't restore the save. We can't restore lost progress except from saved progress that still exists.
In-game items
Stars, keys, hints and any other items you earn in the game exist only inside the game. They can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or anything of value, and they aren't your property. We may change, rebalance or remove them, or the levels that award them, at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the game or the servers that host it, or try to get around its security
- Guess transfer codes, use someone else's saved progress without their permission, or upload anything other than the game's own save data
- Copy, scrape, reproduce or redistribute the game or its art, sounds or code, or host it anywhere else
- Use bots, scripts or exploits to play, or misrepresent your progress to others
- Reverse engineer the game, except where the law allows it
Our rights
The game, including its software, levels, artwork, characters, sounds, name and logo, belongs to Always Blue Software LLC and is protected by law. We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play it in a web browser under these Terms. These Terms don't give you any right to use our name or artwork. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the game at any time, and we may block access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
Third parties
The game uses services from other companies, such as hosting, fonts and analytics, as described in our Privacy Policy. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and are governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the game will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that your progress will be kept.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Always Blue Software LLC and its members, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or progress, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Always Blue Software LLC from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the game.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the game will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when the game adds ads or purchases, and will revise the date above when we do. If you keep playing after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
